At the end of every year I tend to create a list of my favourite stories and media that I have consumed over the past 365 days. Mostly, I keep these lists to myself. Often, I’ll publish my top horror reads of the year. However, I’d like to try a new format in which I celebrate all manner of media from the year in an easily digestible list for others to view.
The games, books, and films in this list may not all be brand new, but they are either new to me or have had enough of an impact that they have imprinted new core memories or fundamentally changed my thinking.
